During the 2nd Dental Tribune Conference @ Buldental, specialists received valuable information and advice on ceramic veneers and onlays during the lecture “Ceramic veneers and onlays. How did the development of materials and techniques change modern prosthetics? “
“The problem with veneers would arise when we do not have enamel,” explained lecturer Stavros Pellenakis from Greece. Lack of enamel can obstruct the use of ceramic veneers. “But if we have one, we can use them,” advises the lecturer who gave examples of his personal professional experience.
Stavros Pellenakis emphasized CAD / CAM – the systems that professionals are increasingly using during recovery operations. He also gave useful advice on how to find out how much enamel there was has on the tooth, as well as on a number of other highlights that concern the professionals and their activities.
