From October 7 to 9, the professional exhibition opens its doors at the Inter Expo Center
“All the necessary measures provided by the authorities in the situation with COVID-19 will be taken,” commented the organizers of the exhibition BULMEDICA / BULDENTAL / DERMA & AESTHETICS.
The specialized forum will be held for the 54th time, from October 7 to 9, at the Inter Expo Center. The professional business platform welcomes a specialized audience from Bulgaria and abroad in full compliance with the orders of the Bulgarian health institutions and international requirements. The forum also marks the restart of the exhibition industry in Bulgaria.
It is an interesting fact that the exhibition is held every year without interruption since its inception, which is why the sector considers it very important to hold it in the context of COVID-19. “We make every effort to create a safe place for business and negotiation environment in a fully controlled environment,” said the organizers. The exhibition is the first to take advantage of the new platform of Inter Expo Center for large-scale events.

Timely treatment will be among the highlights of the accompanying program. The topic will be the focus of the professional event “Do not delay your treatment – LIVE”, organized by CREDOWEB, in partnership with the Bulgarian Medical Union and Inter Expo Center. Specialists in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Urology, Pulmonology, OA and in vitro will gather in the special seminar hall on October 8. Current health problems and their care in the context of a coronavirus pandemic will be addressed. Among the lecturers will be leading names from the fields, among which: Prof. Ivo Petrov – City Clinic (Cardiology), Acad. Ivona Daskalova – MMA (Endocrinology), Dr. Alexander Simidchiev – Ministry of Interior Hospital (Pulmonology) and others.
A number of presentations and demonstrations organized by the companies related to their activities and the products they offer to BULMEDICA / BULDENTAL / DERMA & AESTHETICS will be held in the seminar hall in exhibition hall 3.
Technology does not stop evolving
This year the participants from Bulgaria and abroad will once again prove that technologies do not stop developing, and the medical, dental and aesthetic medicine sectors are areas of innovation.
3D – technologies will be among the highlights of BULMEDICA. Among them are combined devices for panoramic, cephalographic and 3D examinations. The focus of the companies will be software products, portable devices, ultrasound of the latest generation, X-ray equipment, digital and blood pressure monitors, telemetry systems. And of course – the introduction of artificial intelligence in obstetrics and gynecology. Visitors to BULMEDICA will also be able to witness a demonstration of the use of an external automatic defibrillator by a doctor and a non-medical person and the provision of first aid.
Optimal hygiene in the health sector is another of the leading highlights of the exhibition. The professional audience will find products for disinfection and cleaning of medical and dental instruments and health facilities and offices, as well as devices for fast and accurate monitoring of compliance with cleaning standards.
BULDENTAL enables professionals to discover innovations in dental implants and implant systems, good practices in dentistry, dental technology, oral hygiene and dental materials that meet modern clinical and anatomical challenges. Judging by the trends in the dental sector, the devices are more and more mobile. Wireless instruments, new alloys, optical technologies, 3D printers, scanners, microscopes, new generation dental units and implants and many other products will be the focus of the exhibitors’ presentation. And this year we will be able to visit the new theme DERMA & AESTHETICS. Dedicated to dermatology and aesthetic medicine, its second edition will allow a meeting with innovative equipment, dermo-cosmetic products for face and body, dermal fillers, diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and approaches.
For the maximum security of those present, Inter Expo Center has developed “Rules of Hygiene and Organizational Measures”, which includes enhanced hygiene. The participants will have the opportunity for a distance of at least 1.5 m. For this purpose, the size of the paths between the stands has been increased. “Smart introduction” at the entrance of the halls will control the flow of people. For this purpose, a Crowd management system has been developed.
Every year BULMEDICA / BULDENTAL / DERMA & AESTHETICS creates an ecosystem for meeting professionals. The forthcoming edition from October 7 to 9 this year, in the conditions of COVID-19, proves the maxim that when there is a “desire and need, there is a way”.
